County Clare’s oldest man has passed away in his 105th year.
John Joe Marrinan from Inagh died peacefully at his home at Illawnbawn in the early hours of this morning.

Mr Marrinan celebrated his 104th birthday on May 24th, and was Clare’s most senior male citizen.
He’s survived by his 5 daughters, 7 grandchildren and a wide circle of relatives and friends.
