Clare’s newest Councillor says he’s already preparing to attempt to hold on to his seat in 2024’s local elections.
Postmaster Tom O’ Callaghan was formally co-opted on to Clare County Council this week after his victory at a Fianna Fail selection convention in Ennis last month.

He replaces Cloughleigh native Mark Nestor, who vacated the seat back in September to begin training for a career in the priesthood.
