Clare’s Libraries To Re-Open With Changes From Monday

Books returned to Clare’s libraries will be effectively put into quarantine for 72 hours before they’re re-issued to the public.

Libraries are due to re-open from Monday, but will only offer a contact and collect service where readers can order a book to collect at the library door.

The service will be on offer in eight branches at first, while a popular delivery service for those who have been cocooning will continue.

Senior Executive Librarian with Clare County Library, Cora Gunter, has explained some of the safety steps they’re taking.
