Clare’s Junior Minister Predicts Further Jobs Growth In Clare In Coming Months

Clare’s Junior Minister has expressed confidence that there will be further jobs growth in the county in the coming months.

Fine Gael Deputy Pat Breen is commenting in light of the latest CSO figures which show the number of people claiming some form of unemployment benefit in Clare has risen in the past month.

There are now almost 5,200 on the live register in this county, 105 more than in May, with all areas of the county seeing a jump in numbers on the dole queues.

But Deputy Breen, who’s a Minister of State at the Department of Jobs, believes that’s down to seasonal factors and he’s been telling Clare FM’s Fiona Cahill he’s not concerned:
