Clare's Independent TD says he's had a "constructive preliminary meeting" with Fine Gael over the posssibility of forming a minority Government.

Dr Michael Harty was one of five TDs who abstained in last week's votes on Taoiseach.
The five, who could help fine Gael form a Government met with party members in Leinster House yesterday afternoon.
In a statement to Clare FM, Dr Harty says both sides "spoke and actively listened".
