Clare's County Dog Warden is calling on people to play their part in stamping out illegal puppy farms in the run up to Christmas.
Frankie Coote says that a number of small dogs or puppies are bieing stolen on a regular basis with the intention of selling them online.

He says buying puppies from untrustworthy sources can be dangerous as there's no guarantee that they have received the the required vaccinations.
