It’s hoped the new vaccination centre in Clare will be open within the coming weeks.
A recruitment process is underway to staff the centre at the West County Hotel in Ennis and training has commenced.
25,000 vaccines have aleady been delivered in the region and it’s hoped 6,000 will be given to patients across Clare, Limerick and Tipperary every week.
