New figures show that the COVID-19 death rate in Clare has been slightly below the national average.
Figures compiled for TG4 by the Department of Health show there have been 48 COVID-related deaths in Clare up to November 29th.

Eight counties have had a higher rate of deaths including Dublin, which has had the most deaths, and Monaghan, which has had the highest rate of deaths related to its population.
Two counties – Leitrim and Waterford – have had fewer than five COVID-19 related deaths since March
