Clare’s COVID Case Daily Increase At Lowest Level In 2021

The number of new COVID-19 cases reported in Clare in the last 24 hours has been the lowest in 2021 so far.

Last night 15 new cases were recorded by the Health Protection Surveillance Centre, the lowest figure since December 28th.

The news comes after a CSO mobility survey showed that people from Clare have done better than most in terms of abiding by the latest round of COVID-19 restrictions.

Clare’s incidence rate of the virus now stands at 536.1 per 100,000 people – only eight counties have a lower prevalence of the disease.
