Clare’s Chief Fire Officer Says It’s Vital People Celebrate Halloween At Home Tonight

As families across the county prepare to celebrate Halloween this evening, Clare’s Chief Fire Officer is warning it’s vital that everyone adheres to level five restrictions.

This is one the busiest times of the year for the fire service and responding to bonfire call-outs creates a strain on existing resources, while bonfires or the illegal burning of waste can lead to property damage or cause harm or upset to people.

Adrian Kelly is hopeful, however, that people will comply with current public health advice on gatherings and celebrate at home this year.
