The newly-installed Cathaoirleach of Clare County Council has refused to rule out running in the forthcoming General Election.
Independent Councillor and former TD James Breen was awarded the Mayoral chains at the Council's AGM on Friday, a position he will hold when the next election is held, probably early next year.

Councillor Breen ran in the 2011 general election, when he was the final candidate eliminated, and today he said he's yet to make his mind on whether he'll look to run again.
