A 23 year old Clare man has been found Not Guilty of the rape of a teenage girl in 2009.
The local man, who can’t be named for legal reasons, had denied the charge relation to an alleged incident involving a 16 year old transition year student at her home.

The trial took place before the Central Criminal Court, sitting at the Courthouse in Ennis, and the jury took just under two hours to return a unanimous "Not Guilty verdict last evening.
