Clarecastle's Fine Gael TD says Roche was essentially forced to put all of it's eggs in the one basket.

The pharmaceutical company announced yesterday evening that a deal with a canadian based company on the sale of the Clarecastle plant, ended without agreement.
It means that the phased closure of the plant will now go ahead over the coming years, with the loss of hundreds of jobs.
Joe Carey says a confidentiality agreement was signed between the two companies, as well as an agreement that Roche wouldn't engage with any other potential buyers over the past two months.
He says that created a problem.
