The General Manager of Clare’s largest not-for-profit organisation is calling on the Government to provide clarity on charges for nursing home residents.
Reports today claim that a 20 Euro fee is being demanded for religious services in some homes and the Health Minister is being urged to name and shame those responsible.
It’s the latest in a series of ‘top-up’ charges for pensioners that are paying for care under the Fair Deal Scheme.
