Clare’s longest running charity has been given the green light to build a new community care centre.
Clarecare which has been in existence since 1968 and already runs day care services in Ennis, Ennistymon and Killaloe and Bushypark Addiction Treatment Centre has secured planning permission for a state of the art two-storey facility in Shannon.

The Tullyvarraga site was acquired by Clarecare in 2016 as part of its long term strategy and when operational, the facility will deliver core services of addiction treatment, care for older persons and family support.
Clare County Council granted permission subject to 11 conditions.
