Clarecare claims staffing issues are impacting the delivery of service across all social care agencies.
It comes as two new HIQA reports on services provided by Tusla have identifed that the child and family agency is dealing with a “chronic shortfall” of staff.
The service was found to be non-compliant in all three of the areas assessed and the inspections found that a high number of children referred to the service did not have an allocated social worker.
Family Support Manager with Clarecare Family Support Jacinta Swann says adequate supports for adults and children can’t be provided if services are not appropriately staffed.
