Clare youth services received government grant boost

Clare Youth Services has been granted almost a quarter of a million euro worth of funding, announced by the Government.

The Children’s Minister Frances Fitzgerald has confirmed that the Ennis Literacy Project is to receive just over 100,000 euro in funding

Meanwhile, almost 75 thousand euro is to be given to the Clare Youth Service, with Ennis Youth Information Centre set to be granted just over 60,000 euro

The funding is among the first to be handed out by the newly created office of the Children’s Minister – Clare Fine Gael TD Pat Breen says it shows the government’s commitment towards young people.
