A Clare woman has slammed a lack of action on road safety issues in the county three years on from her husband’s tragic death.
Jerry O’Connor lost his life on August 3rd 2023 after being struck by a tourist travelling on the wrong side of the N67 near Ballyvaughan.

Jerry’s wife Helga Himmelsbach has been constantly campaigning for additional drive on the left signage across the county since then along with a restructuring of the T-Junction in the village.
She believes road safety issues are still not being taken seriously.
