A Clare woman is being treated in hospital after she was stabbed at a Galway city estate in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The woman in her 30s, who is reportedly from Cratloe, was stabbed in the abdomen after a row broke out at a house in Ard an Choiste on the Headford Road before 1am yesterday.
She was taken to University Hospital Galway where her condition is said to be critical but stable.
A man in his 40s and a woman in her 30s were both arrested. Gardai at Mill Street Garda Station are investigating.
