An appeal was made in the county a number of weeks ago as part of a national campaign for household goods which would be delivered to those in needs at the French Port.

A large convoy from Ireland, including a number of Clare volunteers travelled there on Friday where they have been sorting donations.

Co-ordinator of Clare To Calais Róín Garvey has told Clare FM's Morning Focus how volunteer efforts have been going so far.
