A voluntary community group in Ballina/Killaloe has been honoured with a prestigeous national award.

The Clarisford Park facility developed and operated by Ballina Killaloe Sports and Recreational Facilities Development Ltd. was set up to address a lack of amenities in the local area.
Its been honoured with an award for Opportunity and Empowerment at this year’s National Planning Awards in Dublin.
The Awards include an overall winner, nine category winners and a President’s Choice.
