Met Eireann has upgraded the snow and ice warning in place for the Banner county this weekend to status orange.
The warning will come into effect from 5pm on Saturday to 5pm on Sunday, with a low level effect having previously been in place for the same time.

Counties Limerick, Tipperary, Carlow, Kilkenny and Wicklow will also be subject to the same warning.
The forecaster is warning of very difficult travel conditions, poor visibility, animal welfare issues and treacherous conditions underfoot.
