Clare Travel Counsellor Insists Spanish Island Remains Viable Holiday Destination

The letter states that the island, which saw 18.4 million visitors grace its shores last year, has been “squeezed to unsuspected limits” due to the its continued promotion as a holiday resort.

Ennis travel counsellor Gearoid Mannion claims the letter is merely a bargaining chip intended to put pressure on the region’s politicians to look after its native population.
