Clare’s Tourism providers are backing calls for the Transport Minister to include local representatives on the 3 bodies charged with shapping Shannon Airport’s future.

On Thursday the government added several more people to the taskforces – All three have expertise in the aviation sector and two are based in the Shannon Region.
However there’s concern that the groups still don’t include any county council representation – something the Mayor intends to raise with Minister Leo Varadkar.
