Clare to benefit from Wild Atlantic Way investment

Clare is set to benefit from a new programme of works designed to improve visitor experiences along the Wild Atlantic Way.

A new 3.5 million euro development phase for the route's designated discovery points has been launched by the Minister for Tourism and Sport, Michael Ring.

17 Discovery points in Clare, including Doolin Pier, Cliffs of Moher, Scattery Island and Spanish Point will benefit from the investment by having photo-friendly marker points and interpretation panels installed.

Lahinch Hotelier and past President of the Hotels Federation, Michael Vaughan says that while the Wild Atlantic Way has not been promoted enough, this investment will help
