Tidy Towns groups in Clare are expressing gratitude to be rid of an “administrative headache” thanks to a new deal.
An agreement between local authorities and Irish Public Bodies Insurance now means Tidy Towns groups won’t have to pay for insurance going forward.

The move is expected to result in substantial savings for the over 1,000 groups nationwide.
