A Clare technology expert is advising parents to supervise their young children with smart tech they get this Christmas.

A CyberSafeKids report found, in 2023, 93% of Irish children aged between 8 and 12 owned their own smart device.

Parents are being warned that unsupervised technology use could lead to addiction, cyberbullying or speaking with predators.

Pat Clarke Browne from Munster Business in Shannon believes its best to be positive with your child to make sure they are open about incidents.
