Clare Teacher Welcomes Government Leaving Cert Reform Plans

Some say lowering that threshold could 'dumb down' the Leaving Cert, but Don Ryan, a member of the TUI's Standing Committee for Clare, believes it will encourage some students to fulfil their potential by staying at Higher Level.
