The Chairperson of the Oireachtas Foreign Affairs Committee, Clare TD Pat Breen is to visit Ibrahim Halawa.

The Dublin teenager has been imprisoned in Cairo for almost two years – he was arrested during protests in the Egyptian Capital in August 2013.
The committee had requested that the entire group be allowed visit the 19 year old – however Egyptian authorities have instead given permission to Pat Breen as Chair, and an advisor.
Ibrahim's case is due to be heard in court this weekend – and Deputy Breen says the group has serious concerns about his welfare.
