A Clare Government TD claims an online threat he’s received ‘far exceeds’ the realm of fair political debate.
Fianna Fail Deputy Cathal Crowe has reported a video circulating online referencing remarks he made in a recent Dail debate to the Gardai, which ends with a gunshot.

The video, entitiled ‘a warning to the woke’, describes the Meelick representative as ‘toxic’ and ‘inarticulate’.
Deputy Crowe says extra security may be needed for other elected representatives should further threats manifest themselves.
