A Clare Government TD says cost shouldn’t be a factor in futureproofing the county against further storm damages.
A multiagency review into the fallout experienced is currently being conducted by Clare County Council, to put measures in place to prevent similar damages as seen during Storm Éowyn.

44,000 homes, farms and businesses were without power at the height of the storm, while some premises were in the dark for 11 days.
