Clare Government TD Joe Carey says he received confirmation from the Education Minister’s Department that plans to provide eight additional classrooms will now go ahead.
Last November The department informed school authorities in Quinn of proposals to upgrade the current facilities in order to cater for current and future capacity, but it was then excluded from the five year building programme.
However Deputy Carey says the money for the project has now been ring-fenced.
