A Clare Fine Gael TD has claimed that the DUP are holding the UK government “to ransom” over Brexit.
Deputy Joe Carey’s comments come as he and fellow members of the British Irish Parliamentary Assembly continue their two-day gathering in London.
The events are being dominated by Brexit, and yesterday heard from Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Karen Bradley, who insisted London would continue to avoid a border on the island of Ireland.
