A Clare Independent TD is calling on the government to implement sufficient supports for the construction of log cabins to allow young people to secure a foothold on the property ladder.
The latest quarterly report from Daft.ie the shows the average price of a home in Clare currently stands at €235,000.
Clare County Council’s recently published monthly management report shows, meanwhile, that 2,831 households were on the county’s social housing list at the end of last month, a rise of 8 since the lifting of the eviction ban.
Speaking in the Dáíl, Kilrush based deputy Violet-Anne Wynne, says innovative solutions are required in times of crisis.
