Clare TD Calls For Aviation Recovery Plan For Sector

Clare’s Independent TD is calling for the government to draw up an aviation recovery plan for the sector to emerge from the pandemic.

It comes as Shannon Group has recorded an operating loss of more than 20 million euro in 2020, with the Department of Transport confirming it’s to re-advertise for the position of the group’s chairperson shortly.

Some form of international travel as expected to return as soon as July, with the EU’s digital green cert set to be rolled out in the next number of months.
