Timmy Dooley is calling on the Minister for Justice to outline the resources which will be made available to Gardaí in Clare under Operation Thor.
The Fianna Fáil TD believes a breakdown of of how Government money set aside for the implementation of extra Garda resources needs to be made available to ensure public confidence in An Garda Síochána is restored.
Speaking in the Dáil, Deputy Dooley linked the Government response to the rural crime wave with the upcoming General election.
