The Clare branch of Saint Vincent de Paul is urging those who are concerned about meeting the cost of energy bills to contact them.
The charity estimated that a quarter of all families will find themselves in ‘fuel poverty’ this winter, as household bill costs rise.

Additionally, a survey from NRG Awareness has found that 90% of Irish people are worried about the cost of their winter heating.
