The Clare branch of Saint Vincent De Paul is urging the public to give whatever they can to help families in challenging circumstances this Christmas.
The charity has recorded over 4,200 requests for help in this county so far in 2023 and is expecting to surpass the 5,000 mark by the end of December.
SVP’s Christmas Appeal will still be accepting donations until the 25th, where people can target contributions towards their own localities.
Clare branch President Denis Carty says they have a noticed a significant spike in presentations from working households and he’s encouraging anyone in difficulty to reach out.
