The Clare Branch of Saint Vincent De Paul has launched its annual Christmas appeal to raise funds so that it can continue to offer its vital services through the busy winter period.
Last week, a cost of living bonus was paid out to thousands of households, while a Christmas bonus double payment of social welfare will be paid at the start of December.
