Survivors of industrial and reform schools in Clare are being urged to attend a meeting next month to help them access advocacy services.
Last year, four survivors undertook a 52-day hunger strike to protest the absence of lifelong services promised to them through a State Apology in 1999.

A further meeting has now been organised at Pery Square in Limerick, following concerns that Government commitments made in the wake of the hunger strike have not been followed up on.
Hunger striker and abuse survivor Mary Donovan says attendees will have the opportunity to meet with SAGE advocacy and get assistance accessing supports.
