Students from Clare were among thousands across the country, who walked out of lectures this morning, in protest over the accommodation and cost of living crisis.
At 11 minutes past 11, students staged the demonstration organised by the Union of Students in Ireland, to remind college authorities and politicians that “students aren’t an endless money pit”.

They’re calling for protection for renters, a cap on the price of renting and for the Student Contribution Charge to be abolished, among other issues.
These students from Clare have been telling Clare FM’s Daragh Dolan about the struggles they’re facing.
