Clare Students Asked To Be Responsible When Celebrating Junior Cert

Clare students are being urged to behave responsibly when celebrating their Junior Cert results this evening.

Over 13-hundred girls and boys are receiving their results today, the last time children will sit the exam in it's current form.

From next year controversial changes to the curriculum will kick in across the country which now include subject choices and teaching styles.

Ahead of teenage discos being held tonight, Clare's Crime Prevention Officer says alcohol should play no part in celebrations. 

Sergeant Joe Downey has this advice for parents.
