A Clare student has made history by completing the first ever Bar of Ireland Internship.
Just four students were selected for the inaugural programme, which involved firsthand experience with civil and criminal barristers, along with a guided tour of the four courts.

Among them was Ennis’ Lee Mac Cuinneagáin who’s studying a Bachelors of Law at the University of Limerick.
Lee has told Clare FM’s Morning Focus that although the pool of people making careers in law is getting more diverse, there’s still many challenges.
