Clare Student Awarded STEM Scholarship

A North Clare student has been awarded a prestigious scholarship geared towards promoting women in science fields.

Róisín Clancy is one of only ten women in the University of Limerick to receive the Johnson & Johnson scholarship for her ideas in promoting study in STEM for women.

STEM refers to the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Manufacturing, and Design.
