Sporting organisations in Clare are set to benefit from the latest phase of funding under the Sports Energy Support Scheme.
The funding announced today by Minister Catherine Martin will see 1,900 clubs across the country receive a share of €2.5m to assist with the rising costs in providing recreational and competitive pursuits.
The Clare Sports Partnership has been allocated €35,000 while the Gaelic Athletic Association has received €910,000 for distribution to GAA clubs nationwide.

The scheme has now delivered a total of over €23million to clubs and facilities in Ireland since its inception.
