A Clare sporting great is to be honoured as the Clare Person of the Year tonight.

Willie Keane from Kilkee will be presented with the honour by the Clare Association Dublin, who are hosting their Annual Dinner Dance at the Ballsbridge Hotel.
During his career, Willie became a household name in athletics in Ireland, winning over 50 All-Ireland titles.
Last year, his medals were placed on display at the GAA museum in Croke Park while speaking in November, he paid tribute to all of those who'd helped him along the way
