The Clare Social Democrats claim that the county development plan’s complicated layout is forcing unnecessary financial burdens on people hoping to build.
The Local Authority’s plan for 2023 to 2029 came into effect this April, with a view to ensuring the sustainable enhancement of construction projects throughout the county for the next six years.
The Council chamber, meanwhile, has heard numerous calls for the introduction of a grant scheme to mitigate the planning costs associated with single residential units.
However, Ogonelloe Native & Chair of the Clare Social Democrats, Gary Miley believes consultancy fees could be significantly reduced with straightforward instructions.
