A Clare Special Needs Assistant who’s pupil is living with a rare and incurable skin disease is calling for an urgent enhancement of nursing care.
12-year-old Casey Connors is a sixth class student in Clondalkin, and suffers from the most severe form of Epidermolysis Bullosa, otherwise known as Butterfly Skin, which can cause extensive blistering and bleeding.

Casey’s SNA and Tubber native Liz O’Donoghue insists more supports are needed as treatment of the condition can be “traumatic”.
