Clare Sinn Fein Councillor Says ‘Line Needs To Be Drawn’ On Water Charges

A Clare Sinn Fein Councillor believes a line ‘needs to be drawn’ on water charges.

It follows an OECD report that said the fees will need to be considered at some stage to improve investment in the country’s water infrastructure.

The government have ruled out the move, with both the Taoiseach and the Environment Minister saying the charges will not be reintroduced.
