Clare Senator Says Waste Of Flu Vaccine Would Be Reprehensible

Clare’s Fine Gael Senator is urging parents to avail of the free flu vaccine for their children.

Earlier this month, it was announced that the children’s vaccination program has been be extended to any child up to the age of 17.

Previously the vaccine was only available to children aged between 2 and 12 but it was reported last month that there was an uptake of just 19%, leaving roughly 400,000 vaccine doses lying idle.
